Circular Action Alliance gets CEO
"Circular Action Alliance (CAA), a Washington-based nonprofit producer responsibility organization founded by 20 producers representing the food, beverage, consumer goods and retail industries to implement extended producer responsibility (EPR) laws for paper and packaging, has named Jeff Fielkow its CEO, effective Aug. 20."

Fielkow will become CAA’s first-ever CEO when he steps into the role on August 20. CAA is involved in building program plans in extended producer responsibility for packaging programs in Colorado, California and Oregon.

CAA is collaborating with Oregon DEQ and PSI on a summer webinar series targeted toward producers of products covered by the RMA.
On July 1, 2024, CalRecycle published a finalized list of Covered Material Categories (CMCs). The finalized CMC list will be the basis for producer reporting in California. CAA will provide additional guidance to producers over the coming months regarding data preparation and reporting.
